The 2-Point, the Bezier, Pen, and the B-Spline Tools in CorelDRAW tutorial walks you through each of these tools. It provides you in-depth instructions on the capabilities, features and use of these tools.
There are three components to the 2-Point Line tool. First, the 2-Point feature that helps you draw straight lines. These lines can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal. The main strength of this tool is the Perpendicular 2-Point Line tool and the Tangent 2-Point Line tool. Using the Perpendicular 2-Point Line tool, you can draw a perpendicular line to one or more objects. While the Tangent 2-Point Line tool enables you to draw a tangent to one or more objects.
The Bezier tool is used to draw straight and curved-line segments. The technique is different compared to the other drawing tools. You will learn how to use these techniques to you advantage to get the shapes you desire. It also tells you how to add a curved-line segment at the end of a curved-line segment. Or if you wish to add a curved-line segment at the end of a straight-line segment. You are also able to draw a curved line at a pre-determined angle.
When you use the Pen tool to draw straight, or curved-line segments, you can preview the line you are drawing. By turning on the preview mode, you are able to place each node at a precise location.
B-splines are usually smooth, continuous curved lines. When using the B-Spline tool, you draw a B-Spline by setting Control Points for the line. The tutorial discusses Clamped Control Points are, as well as Floating Control Points. You can select one or multiple control points. Control points help manipulate the shape of the B-Spline.
