Attributes Cloning and Symbols in CorelDRAW

Attributes, Cloning, and Symbols in CorelDRAW tutorial provides in-depth instructions on how to copy the attributes of one object, and apply them to other objects. To copy the attributes of an object, there are three categories to choose from. From the Properties group, you can select what attributes of the object you wish to copy. You can select one, two or all three attributes from this group.

Then, from the Transformations group, you have the option of selecting one, two or all three attributes from this group. Finally, you have the option of selecting one, or multiple attributes from the Effects group. There are nine options available to you under this group. It is not required that you must select an attribute from each of these groups. You can choose to cherry-pick and choose only one option from only one group. Or any number of available options from any of the available groups. Your selection of these options will vary depending on what you wish to accomplish. After you have made your attributes selection, you can copy the selected attributes. Then move over to the target object and apply those attributes to it.

Attributes, Cloning, and Symbols in CorelDRAW tutorial also shows you how to create a clone of an object. You can make multiple clones of an object. It shows you that if you make any property changes to the initial object, the changes will automatically get applied to the clones of that object. But that does not hold true if the changes are made to one of the clones.

Finally, you will learn how to create a symbol of an object. And the difference between a clone and symbol is explained. You learn the advantages of using one over the other.
